Joni Hubred grew up in small towns, where she fell in love with books and longed to one day follow in the footsteps of her favorite authors.
After a 25-year career as an award-winning community journalist, she created and operated a much-loved news website in Michigan, which closed at the tail of the COVID pandemic. Over the years, she collected a mountain of small town secrets–or as she likes to call them, “inspiration”.
Today, Joni is semi-retired and lives in a very small Minnesota town. Of course.
